This tower is 64 metres in hieght with walls 2.35 metres thick and it was the main gate into the citadel. It now houses a museum.
The clock has moving figarines that perform their routine at 12 noon daily. They can be inspected through special windows in the museum where the huge clock mechanism is also on view.
There is a small Torture Room in the base of the tower complete with a small fireplace for heating the hot irons used to extract confessions and intelligence information!
