The Gothic Evangelical Church

Built between 1300 and 1520 this large church with its five pointed tower is visible for miles around.

It is here that Mihnea Voda cel Rao [Prince Mihnea the Bad] is buried in a tomb behind the  organ. The son of Vlad Tepes, he was murdered on the square in front of the church as he left the building in March 1510.
