Here are some of the sights of Budapest. Our stay was marred by heavy rain storms that caused considerable inconvenience to the traffic in the City as the streets were flooded by several inches of water in many places. Old cars became swamped and immobilized by the water.

Our stay in the city was not long enough for us to explore all its assets such as the thermal baths fed by hot springs and the many museums and other historical buildings. This is a city that you need to visit at leisure if you are to really enjoy all it has to offer.
More often photographed from its river frontage this the opposite elevation is the main entrance to the ornate Parliament Building.
