This is the largest Gothic church between Vienna and Instanbul and is still used by German Lutherans. Built between1383-1477 it was badly damaged by fire in 1689.
The organ built in Berlin in 1839 has no less than 4000 pipes.
There is an extensive collection of Turkish rugs here as well as a mural that predates the fire.
