In the village of Botiza the local priest extends hospitality to visitors who come to see the old wooden church dating from 1694 now dwarfed by the huge new church built in 1974.

The villagers flock to church on Sunday mornings and then sit in the sun to exchange gossip and news - tradition that has gone on for centuries. The villagers have formed their own agro-tourism scheme.
